James Kelley, 73, passed away on June 19. Born in Akron to the late Louis and Amelia Kelley, Jim was a lifetime area resident. He had retired as supervisor at Mattress Warehouse.
Jim had a love for the outdoors, especially for hunting and fishing. He enjoyed attending local gun shows. He also enjoyed watching a good UFC fighting match.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Louis. His survivors included daughters, Carrie Kelley, and Jamie Schultz; sisters, Charlotte VanDerlin and Diane Cleavenger; and grandchildren, Justin, Will and John.
Committal service and inurnment will take place on Sat., July 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery.
