Obituary for Marc E. "Lucky" Junglen

Marc E. "Lucky"  Junglen
Marc E. Junglen "Lucky", 92, passed away on Monday, August 18. Born in St. Cloud, MN to the late Casper and Mary Junglen, Marc resided in Stow, Oh.since 1962 and followed a career as a food broker with the Campbell Soup Company. Marc also worked for the Kroehle Co. until his retirement in 1987. During World War II Marc proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a Fighter Pilot. He was a long time member of Holy Family Parish in Stow. Other memberships included the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion.

In 2011 he was preceded in death by Martha (Birchen) Junglen, his wife of 61 years. His son, Mark of Atlanta, GA, and 13 siblings also preceded his death. His survivors include his children and their spouses, David (Marcia) of Stow, Bill (Lynn) of Munroe Falls, Tom (Mary Kay) of Sherrill, N.Y., and Mary (Tim) McShane of Akron; daughter-in-law Sherri Junglen of Atlanta; sister, Bea Johnson of Austin, MN; and grandchildren, Aaron, Amy, Adam, Gina, Sheena, Angela, Jim, Ellen, Kathy, Megan, Patrick, Haley, and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Anna, Blake, Quentin, and Nadia.

Calling hours will be on Saturday, August 23 from 10:30 to 11:30 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Stow with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30. Inurnment will take place immediately following at Stow Cemetery where American Legion Post 281 will render military honors. In lieu of flowers, please send remembrances to The St. Vincent De Paul Society or The Junglen Family Endowment Fund through Holy Family Catholic Church at 3179 Kent Rd, Stow, OH 44224.
