Obituary for Anna Ruth Vandiver (Mattingly)

Anna  Ruth  Vandiver (Mattingly)
Anna Ruth Vandiver (nee Mattingly), 92, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2014 while residing at The Merriman.
Born in Akron to the late Joseph and Mary Mattingly, Mrs. Vandiver she was the last surviving child of eight siblings. She was currently a member of St. Vincent Parish, and was also a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Aux. #4466.

In 2000 she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Vandiver. Her survivors include daughter, Charlene (Jim) Kuts; sons, Larry (Barbara Ann Powell) Vandiver, and Dan (Beth) Vandiver; grandchildren, Don (Shannon) Kuts, Carol (Bill) Hegerty, Jon (Kelly) Kuts, Heather (Ben) Faulkerson, Dennis McKelvey, Larry (Tina) Vandiver, and Travis (Brianna) Vandiver; 22 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, Sept. 4 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.) followed by a memorial service at 11:30. Inurnment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
