Nora Jane Quesenberry, age 97, went home to the Lord on Nov. 23, 2014. She was preceded in the journey home by her husband, James, and daughter, Laura.

She is survived by her two sons, Dan and Foy; 2 granddaughters, 7 great-granddaughters, 1 great-great-granddaughter, and 3 great-great-grandsons.

Born in the hills of Virginia, she was a good old farm girl who loved animals , the outdoors and growing things. The family moved to Akron in 1955 where she continued with her joys - always a loving home with pets, plants, and lots of outdoor fun Her loving and tender heart will be missed by all who knew here.

Funeral services will be on Friday, Nov. 28 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.) with Pastor Howard Duma officiating. A private interment at Hillside Memorial Park will follow.
