Obituary for Luba Villars (Neckar)

Luba Villars, 63, went home to be with her Lord, and rejoin her parents and son on Thursday, March 12. Born in Germany to the late Mikolaj and Zina Neckar she came to this country as a young girl. She graduated from St. John’s Grade School and Garfield High School. A faithful employee, she had worked for many years for Copley Health Care Center.

She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Dan; daughter, Tanya Clark; son, Joseph Martin; twin brother, Nicholas; sister, Christine; grandchildren, Nicholas, Ryan, Brittany, and Brayden; nephew, Victor; niece, Shawn; mother-in-law, Mildred; and sister-in-law, Debora. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her infant son, Mikolaj, and her pets which she loved, Lady, Lucky, and Heidi.

Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.) where Parastas will take place at 3:00. Fr. Vsevolod Shevchuk will officiate at a funeral service at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
