Obituary for Alex Molar

Alex George Molar (born Alex Aladich, Jr.) age 92, passed away on February 2, 2016.

Alex was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Raymonde. Along with his parents Alex and Mary Aladich, by his brother Ernest Aladich and sister Mary Ann Huddleston.

Alex was survived by his sister-in-law Patricia Aladich (Guy) Hannah, his brother-in-law Floyd (Janet) Huddleston, his niece Carol Ann (Mark) Biggs, his nephews Micheal (Jackie) Aladich and Steven (Michelle) Aladich, along with five great nieces and nephews.

After earning the Bronze Star in WWII, and meeting the love of his life, Raymonde in Lake Geneva, Switzerland, Alex graduated from the University of Akron and earned graduate degrees from Middlebury College (Vermont) and the University of Sorbonne (Paris, France).

Alex returned to Europe in 1950 to work for the U.S. Government and later became an Investment Broker. He and Raymonde returned to live in the U.S. in 1972 where he continued his career as an Investment Broker.

He enjoyed reading, tending to his rose bushes and taking his daily walks. His conversations regarding politics, world affairs, and business, will be missed by all of those who loved him.

A private family memorial service will be announced at a later date.
