David Bruce McCord
David Bruce McCord, age 58, of Stow, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Akron City Hospital.
David was born November 17, 1957 in Cuyahoga Falls. He was a graduate of Hudson High School. David was an avid outdoorsman. He was a proud member of the National Rifle Association. David proudly served his country serving in the U.S. Army.
David is survived by his son Sean D. McCord, his parents, Richard R. and Genevieve W. McCord, sisters Cynthia M. Benfield, Denise L. McCord, and Kathleen J. Clark, and many nieces and nephews; and his faithful K-9 companion Nash.
Friends may call on Sunday, May 1st, Noon to 1PM at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home, 3333 Kent Rd. (Rt. 59 at Rt. 91) in Stow, a service will follow. Interment with Military Honors will be in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Tuesday, May 3rd at 2:30pm.
