Obituary for Patricia Ann Dettling (Sekel)

Patricia Ann Dettling, 72, passed away April 29, 2016, after a long illness at her home, with her family by her side. She is no longer in pain and is at peace with God.

Patricia was a school teacher at St. Paul's in Akron and Holy Family in Stow. She worked and retired from Ohio Bell. She also worked at the Disney Store and at Olympic Awards Trophy Shop.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Irene Sekel (Mahalik), her brother Michael Sekel and her grandson Matthew Archer. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Michael Dettling and her daughter Julie Archer. Her grandchildren Shannon Archer and Kevin Archer and great granddaughter Amelia Archer. Her sister Anne (Steve) Bukovsky, nephew Tom Bukovsky, niece Margie Bukovsky and many more loving family members.
There will be no calling hours. A private memorial service will be scheduled later.
