Obituary for Betty L. Kovach
Betty L. Kovach (Clawson), 91, left this world on June 16th, 2016. Mrs. Kovach was a lifetime resident of Akron and Cuyahoga Falls. She had retired from The B.F. Goodrich Co. in 1983, and was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve; son, John; daughter, Mary; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Lee Clawson; sister, Margaret; and her parents. She leaves her daughter, Judy, of Cuyahoga Falls; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Jay Berkowitz of Arizona, and John Heffernan, Jr. of Florida; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Dawn Kovach of South Carolina; grandchildren, Megan, Patrick and David Heffernan, and Joshua Kovach.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday, July 6th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd. at Rt. 91). Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, July 7th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Cuyahoga Falls, interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Gardens of Western Reserve, Hospice of Summa or have Masses said in Betty’s memory.
