Leota (Lea) M. Dumire
Jesus has taken Leota (Lea) M. Dumire, 83, home to be with her beloved husband Ralph Lynn Dumire on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. She was born on April 30, 1933 in Tunnelton, WV to Irwin and Edna Nestor. Lea attended Millheim Baptist Church for many years.
Lea is preceded in death by her parents; husband and sister, Grace Knots.
She is survived by daughters, Judy Lance (Gordon) and Joyce Saxton (Robert); son, Garry Dumire; grandchildren, Cherie, Jacob, Jeremy and Shelley; 3 great-grandsons and sister-in-law, Ruth Evans; other family and friends.
Friends and family may gather at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home, 811 Grant St., Akron on Friday, October 14, from 10 – 11 AM. A service will follow with Pastor Scott Rockich officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens, Canton, OH.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Lea’s name to the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St. Canfield, OH 44406 and the American Lung Association, 6100 Rockside Woods Blvd. Independence, OH 44131.
