Mary Concetta (DeOrio) Herron, passed from this earth with her family at her side into the loving arms of her Lord on January 2, 2017. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Elwood (1977); her parents, Michael and Theodora DeOrio; brothers, William (Rosie), and Ted; and sister, Rita Kalgreen (Bernard).
She leave behind to cherish her life, her children, David (Barb), Victoria Gaffney, and Jeff (Val); six grandchildren, David, Jr., Jeffrey (Holly), Jennifer, Christina (Tyler), Shane and Seth. Her most precious were her great grandchildren that nick named her "Great Grandma Pipsqueak": Bradley, Eliana, Krysta, Little Lucas Patrick, and Braylin.
Calling hours will be on Friday at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (Grant St.) from 4 to 7:30 p.m. where funeral services will take place at 7:30. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery will be on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
