Condolence: I was so sorry to hear about Mark. I worked with him at Sagamore. We enjoyed rafting, camping, and the 8 & 82. Our paths crossed many times over the years in greater Akron. He even spoke at my Barberton Kiwanis when he was working for the census in 2010. It was wonderful seeing him at our Sagamore reunion last August. Stewart- did not make the connection when you worked at Thirsty Dog that you were Mark's son until John read the obituary and asked if I knew your dad. The Sagamore crew has been telling great stories the last few days. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: I was Mark's 5th grade teacher at St. Martha's grade school. He was an awesome student...smart, handsome, and kind to all. He was best friends with Steve Barbuto. I let them sit next to each other because they could be trusted to behave. I was shocked to read his obit in today's Beacon Journal. What a loss to all who knew him. My deepest sympathy to those he leaves behind.

Condolence: Dear Sue, Tyler, and Andrew Your loss is shared and felt by so many that have been touched by Mark. He was a good friend to all! We have been robbed of all that Mark was to become, and all the humorous insights he would have shared along the way. There is a physically unoccupied Seat on the B.A.A.S.S.S. Boat. That Seat will forever be filled by the memories of good times and laughter of the countless outings we had with WOLF! Godspeed good buddy godspeed. Love Ya, Jerry

Condolence: I will miss Mark. He and I were so similar in temperament and worldviews. Whenever I came home, I always saw Mark - always. He was a good, intelligent, kind, human being. He would have made a great standup comic as he honed those comedic skills at Joe P's basement when we were young. Mark and I loved lead guitarists, boogie rock n roll, and Chrissie Hynde (we liked her industrial strength eye liner). I am grateful that Joe P. introduced me to Mark and the other St. Martha's crew (Steve, Jerry, Tom C., Tim H., and Vince (st. anthony's). Mark told me that knowledge comes with death's release. He got that from Bowie and now Mark is in an all knowing place. I will miss u Mark.

Condolence: Dear Susie: It was so good to see you at Allyson's bridal shower. We are so sorry for your loss. You will now carry him in your heart. After my Mom passed, things she had said became crystal clear as I got older. Glad that you have two sons to carry on his legacy.
