Obituary for Anne Schmidt Dunn (Harris)
Anne Schmidt Dunn, passed away on February14 in Bonita Springs, Florida.
Anne was born April 30, 1924 to George Edgar and Lela Harris. She grew up in Akron with her nine living brothers and sisters. Anne married Paul Schmidt, and together they had three children. They lived together in North Hill until he passed away in 1968.
Anne became the school librarian at St. Martha’s School in 1968, a job she thoroughly loved, and that allowed her to touch the lives of many students. She retired from St. Martha’s in 1986. She married Patrick Dunn and they lived together in Fort Myers, Florida until his death in 2016.
Besides her parents, husband Paul, and husband Patrick, she was preceded in death by her son Michael, three sisters and seven brothers, stepson Eugene, and stepdaughter Sharon.
She is survived by daughters Marianne(Bruce) Rosenhauer and Debbie(Steve) Becquer, and stepsons Edward(Karen), Terrance(Anna Mae), Mark(JoAnn), and Patrick(Gloria), grandson Kyle McCleary, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Calling hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, February 23rd at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd. at Rt. 91). Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, February 24th at 10:00 am at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church (St. Martha’s) followed by internment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
