Obituary for Kenneth E. Speicher

Kenneth E. Speicher, 80, of Tallmadge passed away on Nov. 2 after an extended illness. Born in Bannock, Ohio, the son of the late Jacob and Irene Speicher, he has been a Tallmadge resident for nearly 50 years. Ken was the founder of the Northland Construction Co. and served as its CEO until his retirement 10 years ago. He was able to pursue his love of fishing while wintering in the Florida Keys. Ken was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Parish and was a US. Army Veteran.

His survivors include loving wife of 57 years, Delores; son and daughter-in-law, Richard J. and Christie; granddaughters, Sarah and Olivia. One of six siblings, he also leaves brother, Richard (Judy); sister-in-law, Carol (William) Moody; and brothers-in-law, John (Davette) Kozma and Olaf Nielsen; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services have already taken place. In lieu of other remembrances, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital or to a charity of one's choice.
