Born on May 18, 1933, Alex died on November 15, 2021. She was a 1951 graduate of St. Vincent High School in Akron. She attended The Ohio State University in the mid-1950’s earning a bachelor degree of Fine Arts and a master degree of Art Education. Over the span of 43 years, Alex taught children in Okinawa, on New Mexico’s Isleta Reservation, and in Catholic and Public Schools in Summit County.
