Charles Patrick Fitzsimmons, 75, of Minerva passed away on Dec. 27. Born in Akron he was the son of the late Charles A. and Zora Fitzsimmons. A brilliant man, Charles had earned a Masters Degree in Physics from the University of Akron. He taught in the Akron Public Schools for over 30 years before retiring.
His survivors include his sister, Patricia Lamb; nieces Stacey (Vince) Rager, and Leanne Gregg; nephew, Robert Lamb; great nephew, Brett Lamb; and great niece, Sabrena Rager.
Private family services have already taken place.
