Obituary for Doris Mae Collins (Ottogalli)

Doris Mae Collins (Ottogalli)
Doris Mae Ottogalli Collins, age 80, found peace on April 21 surrounded by her family. Doris was the beloved mother of
Beth (Frank) Popotnik and Chris (Stephanie) Collins. She adored her five grandchildren, Frankie, Erica, Matthew, Lauren and Sean. Cherished daughter of the late Laura and Romolo Ottogalli, Doris had three dear sisters: Theresa (deceased), Annie Memmer, and Eva Lauck, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was a graduate of North High School and the University of Akron where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Doris was a long-time employee of the B.F. Goodrich Co. and a volunteer at Western Reserve Hospital. Her spunky and loving personality will be missed by those who knew her.
The family would like to recognize and thank the wonderful staff of Mulberry Gardens Assisted Living in Munroe Falls for their caring and compassionate care. Thanks also to Harbor Light Hospice for easing her transition to eternal rest.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Harbor Light Hospice would be appreciated. (25 Main St., Munroe Falls, OH 44262, harborlighthospice.com).
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd. at Rt. 91). Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church.
