Obituary for Eleanor D. Duckett (France)

Eleanor France Duckett passed peacefully in her apartment at Cardinal Village, Cuyahoga Falls on November 18, 2018. Eleanor was born March 10, 1921 in Akron, the daughter of Clayton Keck and Bertha Caston Keck.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Raymond France and Frank Duckett ; sisters, Dorothy Keck, and Fern Selby; step-son, Fred Duckett; and step-daughters, Janice Duckett and Marta Hamilton. Eleanor will be sadly missed by sons, Ronald (Jill) France of Stow, Oh., Rodney (Lorraine) France of Bryan, Oh., Ross (Pat) France of Petersham, Mass., Richard (Karen) France of Cortland, Oh.; 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Eleanor was a homemaker until the unexpected death of Ray in 1970. She worked as a cook for the Cuyahoga Falls City Schools for many years. Eleanor was a long-time member of Cuyahoga Falls United Presbyterian Church where she taught Bible school, served as a deacon and was a member of the Women's Missionary Society. She enjoyed traveling, reading, playing cards, making a wide variety of crafts, and being with friends and family.
Calling hours will be on Saturday, Nov. 24 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. where memorial services will take place at 11:30 a.m. at Cuyahoga Falls United Presbyterian Church (2819 Hudson Dr. 44221).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church.
