Betty Pilz passed away peacefully on April 21 from heart complications, surrounded by loved ones and family. She lived for creating strong familial bonds and supporting each other at all times.

Betty immigrated into the United States in 1950 with her parents Anton and Anna Leipold, and siblings Anna (Rudy) Stagl, Fred (Betty) Leipold, Horst (Erika) Leipold, and Helga (Otto) Huiber, where they all settled in Stow, OH. She and her husband, Joe, enjoyed the latter years of their lives together in the baking business, where they were known for their nut and poppyseed rolls. The children, Konrad (Sadie) Pilz, Tony Pilz, Joe (Melodi) Pilz, and Christine (Steve) Hadgis have many wonderful memories to cherish. Betty and Joe also have 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, all of whom have wonderful memories with their Oma and Opa.
