Obituary for Jeanette R. Jones
Jeanette R. Jones, 92, passed away on April 5, 2019. Born in Akron to the late Thomas and Ethel Jones, she has been a life-long Akron resident. Jeanette was retired from Admiral Equipment/Dow Chemical where she worked as a secretary for over 30 years. She was a member of Riverside Christian Missionary Alliance.
Last November, she was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn. Her survivors include sister, Harriet E. Mangham; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The family would like to acknowledge Jeanette's good friend, Jacky Petrey, for all of her loving help especially in these last two months.
Calling hours will be on Friday, April 12 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.) where funeral services will take place at 1:00. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park will follow.
The family would also like to acknowledge the staff of Sunrise Senior Living and Harbor Light Hospice for their professional and loving care.
