Obituary for Joseph Vizmeg

Joseph Vizmeg, 73, of Stow passed away at home on Dec. 26 after a long illness surrounded by his family. Born in Irig,Yugoslavia, he emigrated to this country in 1970's. He met his wife, Katalin, of 45 years who preceded him in death in 2017. He is survived by his son Joe, daughter Juliette (Chip) and his grandchildren, CJ, Aubrianna, and Aidan Falletta. Still survived by his brothers Alex (Bistra), Mike and sister-in-law Zuska (George). Preceding him in death are his brother George and sister-in-law Anna.
The majority of his career was at Akron Equipment and the last several years prior to his retirement at Pneumatic Scale as a machinist. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time outdoors with his dog (Mya) in his garden and fishing. Time with his family and friends sharing his homemade sausage and wine was one of his favorite pastimes. Above all else he looked forward tospending time with his grandchildren and spoiling them.
Calling hours with be Thursday, December 29th at Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (3333 Kent Rd at 91) at 4-7 PM. Services will be held at Dunn-Quigley at 11AM on Friday, December 30th, which will be followed by interment at Silver Springs Cemetery.
