Obituary for Margaret A. Fisher
Margaret A. Fisher, 90, of Stow passed away peacefully on Nov. 27, 2019. Born in Stow to the late Joseph and Stella Fisher, Margaret was a lifelong Stow resident.
Margaret was a well known fixture in Stow. She would be seen riding her bicycle all around town. She was a sweet spirit and made friends wherever she went. A lifetime member of the First Christian Church of Stow, she was given a 39 year perfect attendance for Sunday school award. Margaret embraced life with gusto whether touring with the Stow Sunshiners, hiking in the Fall Hiking Spree (attaining 24 medallions), daily water aerobics classes at the Falls Nat., or just working in her garden (winning awards from the Stow Garden Club)
Although she was preceded in death by her parents and her only sibling, Joe, Margaret considered her many friends, especially those at church to be her family. The feeling was mutual. She will be missed.
Friends will gather 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 2 at the First Christian Church of Stow (3493 Darrow Rd.) where a service will take place at 11:30, followed by light refreshments. Interment at Stow Cemetery follows at 2:00 p.m.
