Obituary for Mary Jane Brandt (Novak)
Mary Brandt (nee: Novak), beautiful, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend went peacefully to be with the Lord on February 12, 2023. She was surrounded by her loving family. Mary was married to the love of her life, Richard Brandt, for over 41 years; dearest mother of Kelly Silva (husband: Blake), Carly Chapple (husband: Nick), Julie James (husband: Robert), and Ricky; cherished grandmother of Emma, Mikaela, Gabriel, Robert and Caleb.
She is the beloved daughter of Irene and the late George Novak. She was also the treasured sister of Elaine Bohnak (husband: Charles); Alex (wife: Rose); Carolyn Krise (husband: Kenneth) and the late George and John; as well as an aunt, cousin, and friend of many.
Mary loved Jesus with all of her heart and had a passion for bringing people to the Lord. She enjoyed listening to Christian music and being a member of Riverwood Community Chapel. Mary had a generous heart and would help anyone in need. Being a childcare provider was her passion, and she treated the children as her own. She had a beautiful soul and appreciated the little things in life. Mary left her footprint in many lives, and those footprints will be forever etched in their hearts.
Mary's family welcomes everyone to join them for visitation at Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home, 3333 Kent Rd., Stow, Ohio on Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 1-4 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at Riverwood Community Chapel, 1407 Fairchild Ave., Kent, Ohio at 11 am on Monday, February 20, 2023 with interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery 4801 W. Highland Rd., Northfield Twp.
