Peggy A. Lamanna, 61, passed away on Oct. 29. Born in Akron the daughter of the late Louis and Angelina Lamanna, Peggy was a graduate of the University of Akron. She was a teaching assistant for the Akron Public Schools and had attended The Chapel.
A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she will be sadly missed by son, Matthew; grandson, Cameron; sisters, Tina Johnson Hunt, Rhonda Johnson Webb, and Sally Ann Johnson Edwards; and brother, William Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her biological mother, Jean Johnson; and brothers, Edward Johnson, and Victor Lamanna.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.) where Pastor Fred Webb will conduct funeral services 11:00 a.m on Saturday, interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
