Obituary for Richard Anthony Bobkovich

Richard Anthony Bobkovich, 62, passed away on Friday October 28, 2022 after a brief Illness. Born on July 20, 1960, he was a lifelong resident of Lorain, Ohio. Rick was preceded in death by his wife of 23 years Amy (nee Turcus). He also was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Elsie (nee Lockhart). He is survived by his sisters, Celina (Dwain) Sanders of Robertsdale, Alabama, Alicia (Ernest) Worth of Apache Junction, Arizona, Victoria Bobkovich of Mesa, Arizona, Brothers Vincent (Kendra) Bobkovich of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Douglas Bobkovich of Gilbert, Arizona. He was a loving uncle to 9 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews.
Rick was born and raised in Lorain, OH. He graduated from Lorain High School (Lorain, Ohio) in 1979, and went on to become a loyal and dedicated employee (machinist) of Lorain Tool Enterprises, Inc. in Lorain, Ohio for over 43 years.
Rick enjoyed all Cleveland sports teams and shared the love of NASCAR with his mother, their long-distance phone calls on Sunday evenings discussing the weekend races was a highlight of his. Rick was an avid Elvis Presley fan collecting his memorabilia and enjoying his music and movies.
Rick was the most genuine, kindhearted, honest, and all-around incredible person to his family, friends, and co-workers, if you were lucky enough to know him you were blessed, he will be missed by all.
A celebration of life for Rick will be held at a later date.
