May God's peace and love be with the rest of Julia's family as they go through this day and the weeks to come. I know, for those family members that were emotionally connected to Julia, that these next few weeks will be rough. The first year, after a loved one passes generally is the roughest as the first holidays and birthdays pass without the person who had died being present. As these events come close, please be mindful of Gary and his children for they will be most likely difficult for them to get through during the first, if not several, years. As I understand it from my communications with my half-Sister, Lisa, Julia was in great physical pain for quite sometime and now that pain is over and she is at rest, at last. I believe, as a Greek Orthodox Chrisitan, that she is in a place where there is no pain, sorrow, or suffering. I have set up a Memorial for Julia, my Mother, on the Find a Grave website for anyone that is interested in learning more about Julia and the history of our family, which, by the way, goes back to at least the late 1700's in the United States. Please feel free to leave any POSITIVE memories or pictures that you have of Julia on the Find A Grave website as the site will be permanent and is a tribute to both my Mother and her family. Please note that I started researching our family because I did not grow up with Julia or her family and wanted to know more about both from a historical perspective. When I met her in the 1980's, she sent me a handwritten list composed by her and Great Aunt Eleanor. I shall ALWAYS be thankful for that list (which I still have some thirty years later) as it allowed me to connect with my family in a way that I would have not done otherwise. Peace be with you all and in the days to come. Sincerely, Anastasia Schimdt Peace be with you all. In Christ, Anastasia Schmidt
