My dear sister, Peggy - oh, how our hearts are broken as you left this world way too soon. What will we do without you? It is so difficult to try to find a way to go on, but we have to - in honor of you. You were just beginning to live a wonderful new chapter of your life in retirement with Santosh, and you both had so much to look forward to together. I'm so glad that you led such a happy and love-filled life that you so eagerly shared with everyone and we have so many fond memories of you. We cannot tell a good family story without mention of your name - you were so much a part of our lives. I cannot even begin to thank Santosh for the wonderful life, and beautiful family, that he provided for my dear sister, Peggy. Santosh, we love you more than we could ever tell you.
I will always remember Peggy's generosity and spirit as she volunteered at the IDEAL library, provided much needed moral support at the NY Marathon, and offered safety advice (and practical application of said advice) as she gave Lars and Nona flashlights for camping out-- wherever they chose to camp, from the White Mountains to our backyard.
We always suspected you were an angel. With a smile that lit up the world....and a heart full of love that went beyond....we miss you more than words can express.
You are with us. Good friends are part of our story, the tale of of our life, the good and bad moments, the smiles and tears shared as we go, until our hour also comes.
Words can't express my feelings. My heart is broken, but I am thankful for all the fond memories and every single moment we spent together during the past 12 years. You were so caring, loving, funny, optimistic,... just a wonderful character. You always made me feel like your own daughter is coming home when visiting. You were the best hostmom I could have asked for. I will always love you with all my heart and miss you dearly, Peggy!
