Beloved Mother-In-Law

I was not only blessed to marry my beautiful wife almost 33 years ago but through those years I was also able to develop a wonderful relationship with my Mother-In-Law. She was always there for us while we raised the children, always offered advice, and always cared deeply about all of our family accomplishments like a PROUD grandparent. I know how much she looked forward to having the kids at the house for the summer so they could swim in the awesome pool and get to spend time with her and Papa. I will miss the amazing stories Mom always loved to share, some happy, some sad, but most of the time there was a life lesson for the kids to think about when she finished the story. I was looking forward to giving her back all the love she gave to us in her golden years. Unfortunately, that wasn't in God's plan. It was heartbreaking to see Mom's health deteriorate in such a short period of time. The last time we were together, as I held her hand and had my arm around her I hope she knew I loved her and appreciated EVERYTHING she did Her whole life for my family. One final thank you to Jackie... Thank you for telling Vicki all those years ago I was going to be the one she would marry. To this day, your daughter is still my best friend, my soulmate, and the greatest mother to the three most beautiful children in the world. I promise I will take care of Vicki and the kids forever. Give Papa our love, you are finally back with the one you've missed and loved so much for the last 12 years. Rest in peace Mom. All my love, Phil.
