Obituary for Chris E. Lopienski

Chris E. Lopienski passed away unexpectedly on November 28, 2017 at his home. He was born on October 12, 1958 to Joseph and Esther (Augustynovich) Lopienski. Chris graduated from Archbishop Hoban and went on to complete his BS in Business at the University of Dayton where he was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa. He was a retired Medical and Surgical salesman, an avid golfer and a socialite. He will be missed very much by his dear family.
He is survived by his three sons who meant the most to him; Jonathan J. (Erica), Gregory S. and Benjamin M. Lopienski; brothers, Thomas and Timothy, sisters, Catherine Lopienski and Teresa Widdecombe; nieces and nephews, Sarah, Thomas, Chelsie Lopienski, Dwayne (Lindsay) Reese and Pierce Widdecombe; and extended family, Cora (Marc) Dion and the Augustynovich families.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home, 811 Grant Street, Akron Ohio 44311 followed by a private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Alcohol Anonymous at 775 N Main St, Akron Ohio 44310.
