Mary Bridget Bokman, 91 passed away on Nov. 21, 2012. Born in Chess Springs, Pen. one of nine children to the late Michael and Pauline McDermott, Mrs. Bokman had lived most of her life in the Akron area. She was a long time member of St. Francis DeSales Parish. After moving to Massillon 20 years ago, she joined St. Barbara’s Parish.

IN 1972 she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd L. Bokman, she is survived by daughters, Marie Geig, of Jackson, and Lois Bokman of Akron; son, Lloyd W. (Rose) Bokman of Gahanna; grandchildren, Jennifer Clark, Deana (Luke) Fetter, Jessica Broz, Katie Broz, Ryan Bokman, and Heather Clagett; great grandchildren, Caden, Logan, and Jordan Fetter; and many nieces and nephews. Her eight siblings preceded her in death.

Fr. Thomas Cebula will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Barbara’s Catholic Church (2813 Lincoln Way NW, Massillon, 44647) where the family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron will follow.
