Elizabeth Keller Reinhardt
1913-2015
Our dear Mom and Oma, Elizabeth Keller Reinhardt, passed away March 6, 2015 at the age of 101. She was born to Katherine (Neidert) and Stefan Keller on August 21, 1913 in Akron, Ohio. She grew up in her mother's hometown of Grosekel, Hungary and married Philip Reinhardt at the age of 16. They reared their daughter, Betty, on the family homestead in Grosekel until 1944. In 1947 following WWII, Elizabeth immigrated to Akron, Ohio with her daughter. She taught herself to speak and read English and worked as a custom drapery seamstress at Montgomery Wards until her retirement. Elizabeth enjoyed vegetable gardening, crocheting and baking fine pastries. To her family she leaves behind a legacy of faithfulness in marriage, hard work, and generosity.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Philip, to whom she was married for 69 years. She will be greatly missed by her daughter and son-in-law Betty and Reinhard Wegner of Akron; grandchildren: Karin & Dick Warner of Cuyahoga Falls, Eric & Debbie Wegner of Akron, Renee & Joe Maggelet of Ashland, Heidi & Geoff Hill of Vero Beach, FL; great-grandchildren: Brad & Mandy Wegner, Nick Wegner, Mike Wegner, Ben Wegner, Nathan Maggelet, Natalie Maggelet, Nick Maggelet, Nadia Maggelet, Brett Hill, Maxx Hill; great-great-grandchildren Bradley and Andrew Wegner. She also leaves behind special niece Cynthia Mick of Tucson, AZ.
Pastor Joe Maggelet will officiate at a funeral service on Tuesday, March 10 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.) where friends may call from 10 until service time. Interment at Mt. Peace Cemetery will follow.
