Billie Sekeres, aka Honey, 85, left us on March 29, 2012 to finally join the love of her life, Elmer, in "Fripp" Heaven.
Billie was a May baby, born on the 12th in 1926 in Lubbock, TX. Raised in San Antonio, she met Elmer and eventually moved with him to Ohio where they married in 1945 and became longstanding members of Holy Family Church. She was a top-selling Mary Kay director for many years and spent most of her days doting on her husband and her other two gifts in life, her children, Chuck and Phyllis.
Billie and Elmer shared a wonderful love story, blissfully married for 64 years, and spent their retirement loving each other...walking their puppies along the beach of their favorite place, Fripp Island, SC, and enjoying many sunsets and cold beers together from their deck.
Preceded in death by her husband and best friend, Elmer, and her parents, Robert and Ethel Gilmore; she is survived by her brother, Robert (Blanche) and sister, Mary Jo Gilmore; son Chuck (Julie) and daughter, Phyllis (Dennis); grandchildren Kris, Tim (Amie), Sherri (Pat), Romy (Mark), Scott (Margaret), Tracy (Bill), Bradley (Anna), Andrew and Christian; loving niece, Tammy Reed; great-grandchildren and special stars in her life Josh, Carly, Brady and Blake, and most recent additions to her heart, twins Marishka Mae & Elmer Zane; and many more greatly loved great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Sunday, April 1st from 6 to 8 p.m.at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (Kent Rd. at Rt. 91) , where funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, April, 2., interment, Crown Hill Cemetery.
