Obituary for Charles Joseph "Charlie" Badran

Charlie was born March 26, 1945 in Akron to the Late Charles J. and Madelene (Kelley) Badran. He was a 1963 graduate of Ellet High School and He faithfully served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1965 to 1971.
Charlie retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber as a Senior Electrical Engineer in 2003 with over 38 years of service. He was a member of the Goodyear Rifle Club; and member of St. Bernard-St. Mary Parish.
Charlie enjoyed life! He was fond of many social events at Lock 3 and Lock 4. He enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, and will be remembered as a friend to all that knew him. The most important things in Charlie's life were his Friends and Family.
He is survived by his sister Cynthia Lynn Badran of Akron, and several Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many good friends including his lifelong friend Emil Lutz.
Friends may call Thursday from 4-8pm at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St) in Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am, Friday, December 30, 2011 at St. Bernard - St. Mary Church (Corner of Broadway and University) in Akron. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Lymphoma and Leukemia Society, 23297 Commerce Park, Cleveland, Ohio 44122.
