David Allen Achberger, 60, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012, Born in Akron to the late Donald and Betty Achberger, David has been a life-long area resident. He was employed by S.C. Manufacturing as a machinist and was a U.S. Army Veteran. An avid fisherman, David was his happiest when out on a lake.

His survivors include daughter, Crystal (Robert) Schoolcraft; son, Donald (fiance, Cary); sisters, Susan (Robert) Corall, Nancy (Larry) Freudman, Cindy (James) Cook; brothers, Terry (Barb), and Ronald (Ruby); grandchildren, Brandon, Stephanie, Phoenix, Samantha, and Alex; close friend, Howard Miller; as well as many other good friends who will miss him dearly.

Friends may call on Monday from Noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Victory Chapel, 32 West Bellisle where funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m.
