George William "Bill" Futrell, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011. The son of the late Leon T. and Beulah Futrell, he was born on June 14, 1930 and grew up in Akron. Along with his children, he is survived by four grandchildren, Jason Futrell, Michael (Kelly) Futrell, Desiree (Steve) Cespedes, and Eric Futrell; six great grandchildren, Madison Kathleen Sullivan, Haley Futrell, Lucis Futrell, Bay Bay Palmari, Betty Palmari, and MacKenzie Palmari; sister, Bonnie Kay (Bob) Scaadt; and brother, James Lee "Butchie" (Janet).

He was a very kind and gentle soul. He left his mark on everyone he met. He will be sadly missed in more ways than one.
