Obituary for Gertrude "Molly" Clause

Gertrude "Molly" Clause
Gertrude “Molly” Clause
1920-2013
Our beloved Molly went home to the Lord Feb. 25, 2013 and joined the love of her life, Nathan (deceased 2000). She shared her life with us for 93 years and was greatly adored by all who knew her, especially her two sons: Terry (Rebecca) Clause and Tracy Clause. She was loved immensely by her “Daughter” Diane Clause and will forever live on in her four devoted grandchildren: Jason (Jennifer) Clause, Emily (Jason) Whitfield, Alex (Kristen) Clause and Hannah Clause. Molly had three beautiful great-grandchildren: McKinley, Phoebe and Nathan, and many nieces and nephews.

Molly was born Jan 4, 1920 in the County of Darby in England. She met and married Nathan in 1944 and journeyed to begin a beautiful life in Stow, Ohio. Molly worked hard and loved fiercely. She was a force to be reckoned with and lived her life on her own terms until the very end. Molly will be remembered for her zeal for life, her love for her family, her devotion to her husband, her hugs and kisses, her tea parties and her never-empty cookie jar. She will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank the staff of The Briarwood in Stow for their loving care and compassion.
Internment will be a private family service at Standing Rock Cemetery. The Family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Hospice of Western Reserve in Molly’s name.
