Joseph C. Caston, 56, passed away on March 25, 2014 after a long illness.  Born in Akron the son of Carl and Mary Caston, Joe was a lifetime Stow-Cuyahoga Falls resident.  Gregarious and always helpful, Joe will be remembered as the neighbor who shoveled snow, took in the garbage cans and loved to talk.  His many nieces and nephews will remember Uncle Joe for his backyard pool parties and the way he looked after things.
A beloved son, brother and uncle, he was preceded in death by his father, Carl and his sister, Maureen.  He is survived by mother, Mary (nee Dunn) Caston; sisters, Charlotte (Frank) Osborne, Anne Caston, and Bridget (Fig) Jankowski; special “brother” Mike Krueck of Germany; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great nephews.

Calling hours will be on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd. at Rt. 91).  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Eugene’s Catholic Church.
