Carol Schindewolf

One of the hardest things to do is to say 'Goodbye' to a loved one who has been ill for some time, but even worse is when it so sudden & unexpected. Mark was my step-son, but always thought of him as a 'son'. He was a funny goofy kid & always happy with a smile on his face. When staying with us one summer, on the second day he had a 'little' fender with our VW Bug - and another time after mowing the lawn he came into house & washed his feet off in the TOILET. His grandmother told the story of him when he was just a little kid that he wanted to she fire trucks, so he pulled the Fire Alarm that, in those days, was on a telephone ? pole just so he could see them. Don't know how true that is, but it sounded like Mark. When reading the Obituary, it so reminded me of his Dad, especially the party, bartender, mixologist part. His passing did not just make a hole in our lives, it leaves a crater & he will be greatly missed is without saying. RIP in peace my 'son'.
