She is survived by her brother, Richard Koehler of Annapolis, MD and her nieces Diana Fischer of Annapolis and Lucy Thompson of Morgantown WV and also by nephews Richard Koehler, JR of Annapolis and John Koehler of Eagan MN.

Mary graduated from Buchtel High School and worked at B. F. Goodrich for over 40 years. She was an active sportswoman participating in basketball, softball, golf and bowling.

Mary belonged to Saint Sebastian Parish (476 Mull Ave.) where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday January 5, 2012 at 11am followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. A reception lunch will be held at Hackers Resteraunt, 600 Swartz Rd. in Akron. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
