MARY LUXEDER
Mary Katherine Luxeder, (nee Wolf), 100, passed away on March 25, 2012 while residing at Copley Health Care Center. Born in Hungary, Mary immigrated to the United States in 1922 at the age of 11. Mary's name is on the Immigrant Wall of Honor on Ellis Island. Mary, a long time member of St. Mary's Parish, was a woman of strong faith. She spent her entire life in the Akron area and in her later years resided at The Village at St. Edward's in Fairlawn. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and respected and loved by everyone.

Her husband, Anthony J., preceded her in death as well as did her son, Anthony M., and great granddaughter, Alexa Loney. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Joan Hodson (Bill), and Betty Haugen (John) both of Cuyahoga Falls; sons, Robert (Jean) of Barberton, Richard (Barbara) of Munroe Falls, and Tom (Johnette) of Connecticut; daughter-in-law, Alice Luxeder-Robb; 21 grandchildren; and 38 great grandchildren.
