Obituary for Michael A. D'Amico

Michael A.  D'Amico
Michael A. D'Amico passed into the arms of his Savior on Feb. 1, 2015. He was born Oct. 6, 1953 in Pittsburgh, Pa.
He was the beloved husband of Susan D'Amico (nee Stiefvater) for 38 years and loving father to Jason McSwiggen (Tanya), Crystal Caccamo (Marco), Gina Cole (Cedric) and Deanna Maze (Joel).
He is also survived by his brother Bob (Jackie) and sister Judy Zola (Gary), ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Mary, and brothers Paul and Dave.
Mike worked for 40 years as a research chemist and loved his career in science. He will always be remembered for his hilarious sense of humor, his devotion to his wife and children and his strong Christian faith and example. 
He will live on in our cherished memories until we are together again. John 11:25-26
Calling hours will be Friday, Feb. 6 from 6-8 PM and Saturday  Feb. 7 from 4-8 PM at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd, Stow, OH, 44224 at Rt. 91).
Funeral Service will be held Sunday Feb. 8 at 3 PM at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church (2113 Ravenna St. Hudson, Ohio 44236).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church or The American Heart Association.
