Obituary for Nancy C. Reed (Davis)
STOW- Nancy C. Reed, age 77, passed away early Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Akron City Hospital.
A lifetime resident of the area, she was a member of the Army-Navy Garrison #102 auxiliary; and past national president of the Army and Navy Veterans Union.
Nancy is preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Reed, Sr., her son Randy Bailey, and granddaughter Kari Ann Bailey.
She is survived by her daughters Mary (Bud) Manes, and Patricia (Larry) Cochran; her sons, John Bailey, and Ben (Susan) Reed, Jr.; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Thursday 5-8pm at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home, 3333 Kent Rd (at Rt. 91) in Stow where the funeral service will be conducted at 11am Friday, Rev. Jeff Gibson officiant. Burial Silver Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St., Canfield, Ohio 44406.
