Obituary for Otelia F. Burke (Johnson)
Otelia F. Burke, 84, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013. Born in Bellview, Ill., Mrs. Burke had lived in Stow for over 50 years. She was a long time member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church. An avid gardener, Otelia loved flowers especially in the springtime.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; and her daughter Dian. Her survivors include daughters, Marsha (Tod) Kendle of Munroe Falls, and Holly (Bill) Paridon of Niles; grandchildren, Jerrod (Stephanie) Price, Matthew (Erica) Price, and Kyle Paridon; great grandchildren, Logan, Elijah, and Anna Elizabeth; and brothers, Lavon (Edna) Johnson and Lyndle Johnson both of Illinois.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd. at Rt. 91). Pastor Arthur E. Cubbon, Jr. will officiate at a funeral service on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Lutheran Church (3725 Kent Rd.). Interment at Crown Hill Burial Park will follow.
