Obituary for Quinn Rosalie Seymour

Quinn Rosalie Seymour, age 8 months, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012 surrounded by her family at The University of Minnesota-Amplatz Children's Hospital in Minneapolis after an eight month battle with Junctional Epidermolysis Bullosa- Herlitz (JEB-H). Quinn and her family moved temporarily from Stow to Minnesota in October for her treatments.
Quinn was born with a rare, painful genetic disorder. JEB-H is the most deadly form of EB and the only treatment option currently is a bone marrow transplant; which Quinn received on December 9, 2011. She has been a special inspiration to many and has touched many people that never had the honor of meeting her.
Quinn is survived by her "Butterfly Army" including her loving parents Marc and Mandy Seymour and her brother Camden of Stow, her Great-Grandparents Bill and Polly Bailey and Leta Stadler, Grandparents Dale and Phyllis Seymour, Christine Bailey, Don and Jodi McGee, Aunts and Uncles Shelly Seymour, Brett and Nicole Seymour, Will and Ashley McGee, Jason and Annie McGee, Nici Heffelfinger, Laticia Heffelfinger and many loving cousins.
Quinn has touched so many and will be forever loved and missed by her Holy Family Parish Family.
Friends may call Friday from 4-8pm at the Holy Family Church, 3179 Kent Rd. in Stow. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Saturday with burial to follow at All Saints Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Quinn R. Seymour Benefit, c/o 5/3 Bank, account number 9522817197, where donations will be used to open a chapel in Quinn's honor at the hospital that cared for her.
