Robert C. Renner, 77, of Cuyahoga Falls passed away on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012. Born in Lorain, Mr. Renner had lived the last 25 years in Cuyahoga Falls. He was retired from U.F.C.W. International Union after 20 years as Union Representative. A U.S. Army Veteran, Bob was an active member of the Ralph Huff VFW Post #1062. He was also an avid boater and golfer.

His survivors include wife, of nearly 17 years, Michele; daughters, Liane (Keith) Papay of Amherst, Sharyl Renner of Katy, TX, and Erica (Brad Sanicky) Renner of Amherst; sons, John (Pam) of Crestwood, KY, Mike (Heather) of Columbus, and David (Molly) of Columbus; grandchildren, Tarren, Alec, Taylor, Zane, Zachary, Zoe, Aaron, Jeremy, and Max; sisters, Vivian Urig of Sheffield Lake, and Wanda Ralston of Lorain; mother-in-law, Ruby Dete; sister-in-law, Diane (Bob) Willoughby; brother-in-law, Rick Dete; many nieces and nephews; and his canine companion, "Erma". His siblings, Mary Lou, Dick, Elaine, Jack and Jim all preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. on Thursday at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (Kent Rd. at Rt. 91) where military honors will be rendered at 6:00 p.m. Inurnment at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman will be private.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Ralph Huff VFW Post #1062 (1581 Main St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221).
