Rose Mary  Stitz (McLaughlin)
Rose Mary Stitz, age 85, of Stow, passed away late Tuesday evening, June 4, 2013 at Falls Villiage Retirement Community.

Rose Mary was born August 31, 1927 in Salineville, Ohio to the late James and Agnes (Sweeny) McLaughlin. She was a graduate of Mt. Union-St. Luke's School of Nursing. She worked for over 30 years at BF Goodrich where she was the Supervisor of Nursing, She later retired from the Cleveland Clinic as a Surgical Nurse.

She was a member of Holy Family Church where she sang in the Choir. She was the Treasurer of the Stow Garden Club, and member of Highland Square Seniors. She was an accomplished seamstress and quilter, she enjoyed sewing for the Pregnancy Care Center. She enjoyed Ballroom dancing, but most of all she loved her family. Rose Mary was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband George W. Raymond, second husband John E. Stitz, Sr., siblings, Jack McLaughlin, Eileen (Tony) Valenty, Bill McLaughlin, Nora (Mac) McLaughlin, Edward McLaughlin, Tom McLaughlin, and Agnes (Cookie)(John) Cuda, step son Dave Markulis.

She is survived by her daughter Vesta Raymond, step-children, Bill (Dora) Raymond, Judy Markulis, Paul (Linda) Raymond, Kathy (Richard) Marquard, Tom (Becky) Raymod, Richard (Laura) Raymond, Jeff Raymond, Gerald (Aggie) Stitz, Jay (Marilyn) Stitz, Carl (Donna) Stitz, Alice (Jim) Kormanik, Ruth Ann Stitz, Mary (Marvin) Beal, Nancy (Michael) Reichart, and Thomas Stitz. Her sister Catherine (Jerry) Stiffler. Sisters-in-law, Rita, Theresa, Mona, and Maryann McLaughlin. She leaves several grandchildren including her caregiver Kelly (Chad) Porter, many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call Friday 5-8PM at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home, 3333 Kent Rd. (at Rt. 91) in Stow. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Holy Family Church, 3179 Kent Rd in Stow with Fr. Paul Rosing Offficiant. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery.
