Ruth R. Atkinson, age 95, of Cuyahoga Falls passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, February 11th at Akron City Hospital.



Mrs. Atkinson was born February 2, 1917 in Ogden, Utah to the late Karle and Mabel (Erickson) Roshon.



She is preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1997, a sister Della Mann, a brother Kenneth Roshon and a son-in-law David Pope.



Ruth was the beloved mother to her daughters Kathleen (Robert) Bomer of Akron, and Belinda Atkinson Pope of Cuyahoga Falls, her two sons Robert (Carol) Atkinson of Wheaton, Illinois, and Kenneth (Janet) Atkinson of Grafton; Ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and a sister Maxine Gotshall of Walnut Creek.



Friends may call 6-8pm Friday, February 17, 2012 at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home, 3333 Kent Rd. at Rt. 91 in Stow; where a memorial service will be conducted at 8pm.
