Oh my Dear Steve, you will never know how much I will miss you. It was so great just to take a walk threw the woods to your house or to talk in the middle of them while you sited your bow and told us about your hunting experiences, we talked a lot about your fishing and I think you were mellowing out in your old age..... :) You were actually going to take me fishing this year. We talked about Main or maybe Canada some day. We would be working hard in the yard and you would stop for a visit, the work all stopped because we loved to talk to you and hear where your next trip was and tell you where our next trip was going to be. I don't think we would have ever gotten you down 74 feet with the sharks. That's ok there are enough sharks above water :) My boys send their condolences as they loved spending time with you too. You were the best neighbor ever!!!!!! more than that you were a wonderful friend and most of all you were family, If I needed you, you were there and I know I was there a few times for you. Things will never be the same here and it is hard for me to look out that back window and know I will never see you working or sitting your bow. I am not surprised you went out the way you did, that was your style Fast and clean, no soppy good byes. Wish I could say the same for me but I have sopped enough for everyone these past days, that is only because I am selfish and want you here. I know you are in a much better place and you were so loved by family and friends that you shot straight up there. I will miss seeing you in church and yes Steve we do our best to Stay till the last note. It was so great to finally meet all your family and friends that we had heard so much about. I had hopped for it to be under different circumstances. I will see some of your friends again as they are so kind to have invited us to share in your Bruce S. event, we will drink n your honor but it will never be the same. I love ya much buddy and I hope one day when it is my turn you will take my hand and lead me safely into Heaven were I know you are. Colleen Hirsh
