Rootbeer and music

When my dad would come get me from preschool, I think those were my favorite times with him. My brother would be at school still so it was just time for me and my dad. He drove a light blue Ford Ranger but to a 3 year old it felt like a great big truck we called the broom broom truck. We would go get rootbeer at A&W together and just talk, laugh and listen to music. Our song was the Na Na song... And even at 29, I still don't know the real name of it! He taught me a lot about music and appreciation of the "good stuff". As a kid, we didn't listen to Madonna or New Kids On The Block, We would throw on a Bob Segar record and dance around the living room! Old Time Rock and Roll. He taught me a lot about what good music really is and I will cherish those memories of him forever.
