Growing up I was lucky enough to spend Easter and Summer holidays with my Grandparents at their home in Cuyahoga Falls or at their home in St. Petersburg, Florida. It was an amazing time and as a family we all have a lot of happy memories.....
Sitting with Grandpa helping him to make badges for his badge man business.
Chasing lightening bugs around his back garden.
Riding bikes around the local neighbourhood in Cuyahoga Falls, down to the park pool, or to shoot hoops on my Aunt Peg and Uncle Dicks driveway.
Eggo waffles for breakfast!
Sitting on Grandpa's bed watching WWF wrestling thinking it was the best thing that I had ever seen!
Riding in the front middle seat of Grandpa's cadillac.
Drinking root beer from the stash in the basement.
Riding bikes around the village in St. Petersburg, down to the pool for a swim, the shuttle board courts, fishing from the dock and watching the sun set.
Smashing crab claws at Crabby Bills.
Celebrating their "significant" wedding anniversary at the beach house with all the family.
Being the only person to have a 90 year old grandpa on Facebook and Skype!!
Gone but never forgotten, and example to us all; I was extremely lucky to have you in my life. Thank you for all the memories. I wish that we had managed to make a few more. Rest in peace.
I love you grandpa...
